Pneumatically driven saws to detach sheet metal parts for body repairs. The saws are designed for high-strength materials and work with an operating pressure of 6.3 bar.

The VAS 882 003 body saw is the powerhouse for the strictest requirements. Specially developed for extremely hard and tough materials (? 1800 N/mm2), at the same time as displaying low vibration effects (3.5 m/s2). The powertrain is located inside the housing, isolated from vibrations - which almost eliminates vibrations entirely. The halved stroke frequency and the doubled stroke in comparison with VAS 6780 allow thicker sheet metals and, in particular, ultra-high-strength steels to be detached. Cold sawing and detaching - no hot flying sparks. Peripheral zones stay cold, no changes to the metal structure. For separating work up to 4.0 mm with high-strength and 2.0 mm with ultra-high-strength steels, and up to 6.0 mm with aluminium as well as plastic.
The ergonomically shaped aluminium handle is covered with an oil-resistant NBR material, in order to guarantee a better feel and temperature insulation.
The counter-hold tool is made of stainless steel, so no rust particles are introduced into the body surface.
