CO2 coolant tester VAS 531 009

If coolant loss is occurring without any visible leakage, the reason may be an internal leak from, for example, a damaged cylinder head gasket, which will then lead to CO2entering the coolant. The VAS 531 009 measures the CO2content in the expansion tank of the engine cooling system. Elevated CO2 content in the cooling system, which can be reliably detected by our new CO2 coolant tester, indicates coolant leakage somewhere between the exhaust system and the cooling system. The product is a novelty in the marketplace and we are now offering for the first time. We are not aware of the existance of any comparable product worldwide for after-sales ordering.
