With the scissor-type assembly platform VAS 6131B, engines and gearboxes of the modern power unit generation can be installed and removed as a unit quickly and without additional tools. This power unit assembly has a weight of approx. 800 kg, which means that the standard engine and gearbox jack cannot be used. Operating comfort and simple manoeuvrability set benchmarks and make the product indispensable.


Product benefits

• Optimum flexibility: the assembly platform that consist of an engine and moveable gearbox plate, can be tilted three-dimensionally by 60 mm to allow all mounting points of the power unit to be reached perfectly in all installation positions.
• Universal use: the engine and gearbox plate have been provided with a locking template; to adapt the equipment to the relevant power unit assembly, the respective supports are bolted to the plates.
• Comfortable and simple work method: thanks to the movable gearbox plate, the engine and gearbox can be separated on the scissor-type assembly platform without the need for great physical effort; a rapid and creep mode ensure for an efficient lifting and lowering speed.
• Optimum stability, tilting stability and mobility: the A-frame permits simple manoeuvring, the lowering device ensures for a secure support.
