The alignment jig V.A.G 1920/1 is a sturdy steel welded construction with flat milled surfaces upon which modular cross members V.A.G 1392 are mounted.
All existing and future straightening brackets for the entire Volkswagen and Audi model range can be installed on the modular cross members, as well as vehicles of other manufacturers.
Thanks to a generous width and a length of 4.30 m, the alignment jig is particularly suitable for longitudinal member pulling measures and also repairs on commercial vehicles.
A quick anchoring system allows rapid and variable adjustment of the wheel mountings and anchoring clamps on the box profile of the alignment jig.
Alignment unit with foot pump V.A.G 1920/2:
Together with alignment jig V.A.G 1920/1, the hydraulic alignment equipment V.A.G 1920/2 forms a platform upon which simpler and faster body repairs are possible thanks to the improved means of control and a larger swivel range of the pulling arm.
The force is generated with the aid of a pneumatic-hydraulic pump. The alignment unit can be attached at almost any position on the alignment jig thanks to a quick anchoring system.
The design of the equipment allows a range of pulling measures, for example
- Direct pull with chain and pulling arm
- Simultaneous pull at two points
- Pushing and pulling work, simultaneous pull downwards via relay roller
- 3 point pull
