The engine and gearbox jack VAS 6931 is a hydraulic single post jack with foot control for removing and installing power plants. Apart from the universal support plate, the upper telescopic section can also accommodate various special tools.

• Optimum flexibility: the universal support plate with two tensioning straps can be tilted by 10 degrees in all directions to allow positioning in all installation positions of the engine or gearbox; the correct height can be set conveniently using the 3-stage telescopic cylinder.
• Process safe and comfortable work method: the 2-stage foot pump and lowering valve with dead-man control that is also foot-operated ensure for a controlled lowering of load; thanks to the pneumatic foot-operated rapid advance, an idle stroke can be rapidly bridged.
• Optimum stability, tilting stability and mobility: on the five chassis legs with two lockable wheels, large rubber coated castors ensure that the jack can be moved quietly and manoeuvred easily when subject to load.
• Geared towards the requirements of dealerships: the jack is downward compatible for all existing gearbox and axle mounts in the Group.
• Equipped for tough everyday use in the workshop: the profile cover of the five chassis legs and the rubber cover of the pneumatic connection protect against scratches, dust and soiling.
• Everything at hand: the practical box beneath universal support plate can be used to store the tensioning straps as well as for small tools or bolts.
